Tribal Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program

CPM Benefits for Tribal Governments

For decades, states, cities, towns and counties have used CPM programs to develop their managers. This new course supports tribal self-determination and capacity- building by providing a CPM program tailored to tribal government needs.   Participants develop practical management skills for working with elected officials, tribal members and other managers so critical to the effectiveness of tribal governments.  Recognizing the wide variety of tribal government structures, the program focuses on skills and tools that are common and basic to tribal management.

Please note:

There are certain eligibility requirements for enrollment in the Certified Public Manager (CPM) Program.  Exceptions may be made on an individual basis.  If you have questions regarding these requirements, please contact Sally Manatt, CPM Program Coordinator by email:  Manatt@asu.edu or phone 602-496-1305.
