Certificate in Public Administration for International Leaders
The Certificate in Public Administration for International Leaders is designed to meet the unique needs of elected and appointed officials from a particular country or region of the world.
This Certificate Program will emphasize on practical applications of public policies and programs rather than academic approaches to theories on government institutions, organizations, and public administration. The international delegates will examine effective policies and programs, best practices, success cases, and innovative models of public administration and business practice in the United States. Topics such as leadership, collaboration, public-private partnerships, community conflict resolutions, pollution, urban challenges and opportunities, information technology, and electronic government practices.
We will include guest lecturers such as public officials, business and community leaders, technology experts, and other faculty from the School of Public Affairs. To better see and learn our State and municipal administration practices and governance, workplace visits to the State and local government will be scheduled. Opportunities for one-on-one meetings may also be arranged.
