Dr. Janet Boberg

Dr. Boberg is the Public Education Coordinator for the Glendale Fire Department. Prior to working for the Glendale Fire Department, she spent 8 years as the Phoenix Fire Department’s Youth Firesetter Intervention Program Manager and was a police officer for 11½ years. She taught the DARE and GREAT Programs in the schools.

Janet holds a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Research and Evaluation. She earned a master’s degree in School Counseling and a second master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision. A graduate of the Bob Ramsey School of Executive Management’s Certified Public Manager Program®, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified K-12 Counselor in Arizona. Janet also teaches graduate school part-time for Northern Arizona University and Northcentral University.
