Tammy Perkins

Tammy Perkins is a former City of Phoenix executive with over 30 years of service in local government management. Her Phoenix work assignments included Interim Deputy City Manager, Senior executive in the City Manager’s Office, Acting Water Services Director, Neighborhood Services Director, and Lobbyist at the State Legislature.

Since leaving the City, Tammy completed the Arizona Attorney General’s Office Mediation Training, served as a mentor for the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy, participated in numerous Osher Lifelong Institute courses and served on Drake University’s National Alumni Board.

Her education includes the Senior Executive in State and Local Government Program at the Harvard University Kennedy School, an MPA from the University of Denver, and a BA in Public Administration at Drake University.

Her community leadership involvement included the Arizona Women’s Town Hall, the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix’s Interfaith Mission, the Downtown Phoenix YMCA Board of Management and the Valley Leadership Board. Current memberships include the Arizona City and County Management Assoc., the Assoc. for Conflict Resolution and the International City County Management Assoc.
