Professional Development for Public Service

A center within the School of Public Affairs in the College of Public Service and Community Solutions, Bob Ramsey Executive Education is dedicated to improving the effectiveness of the people and organizations that serve communities. Through the center's programs and seminars, public service professionals can enhance their management and leadership competencies and can earn the Certified Public Manager®, Certified Municipal Clerk, or Master Municipal Clerk credential. The center also assists state, county, municipal, and tribal organizations with the implementation of their staff development initiatives.

Hector has been Director of Bob Ramsey Executive Education since November 2012 and has been with ASU since 2004. He has served in various executive education roles since 1992, including eight years at the W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU, two years at UCLA Anderson’s Office of Executive Education, and eight years at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Hector earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a Master of Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business.

Linda has been with Bob Ramsey Executive Education since 2007 and at ASU since 2006. In addition to her responsibilities as Operations Manager, Linda is the Institute Director for the Municipal Clerks Institute and Municipal Clerks Academy. She also manages the Management and Leadership Institute. Linda earned two degrees from ASU: a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Business Management and Public Administration/Public Management and a Master of Higher and Postsecondary Education.

Michelle is a Program Manager for Bob Ramsey Executive Education and manages the Online Certified Public Manager Programs. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts from Illinois State University, a Masters from the University of New Mexico, and a PhD from Arizona State University.

Stephanie is a Senior Program Coordinator and manages the in-person Certified Public Manager® Programs in the Phoenix Metro Area. She also acts as the Administrative Director for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for 2024. Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona and a Master of Science at Portland State University.
