As an employee-focused organization, the City of Tucson is committed to help employees "Deliver Exceptional Service to the People of Tucson", and has partnered with ASU to offer the Certified Public Manager® Tucson Program in a classroom format.
The Ignite Leadership Academy/CPM program has been designed to develop the effectiveness of City of Tucson supervisors. The cost of the program will be absorbed by your department. The highly competitive program seeks to support employees now and in the future through the competencies, and align with our vision to be “the destination for sustainable living, growth, and opportunities”.
Classes are scheduled one day per week from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and will be held at City Hall. Additional coursework will be assigned before and after class.
To earn the Certified Public Manager® designation, you will need to be able to commit to the following requirements:
